Cinnamon flowers

During my very busy day yesterday I bought some flowers.

I rarely buy flowers however they were in the supermarket looking beautiful and smelt divine.  In fact Miss G and I both think the mauve ones smell like cinnamon.

They may be Stocks and I sure don't know what the others are though.  I bought those to use as a filler.

Mum do you know what they are?  Flowers are beautiful and if they have perfume, what a bonus.

Thank you to all the people in the flower industry who work hard to plant, tend and grow flowers for us to enjoy.  Your efforts are appreciated.

  1. Dear Anne,

firstly, these flowers are sooo pretty. I do love lavender/purple!! Are the other ones alstromeria that are still in bud. I always see (and buy) them in the store but, just the other week, came across some that were at a nursery - for the garden! It was beautiful but an annual. Next year, maybe.

Thank you very, very much for your truly cheering words about my son. You are right - you got what I was saying. Blogging has been a wonderful place to - not escape - but to refocus and cheer up. I am looking forward to following the link you gave me but I think I will do it tomorrow. I am sooooo sleepy now! Good night!

    Love, Katy Noelle
