More studio building

Our weather forecast for today wasn't too promising but after some rain that came earlier than expected, we enjoyed a lovely sunny day.  That of course meant that more building work could take place on the studio.  We were fortunate to have the assistance of a friend who was able to help with some of the heavy lifting.  I can do it but I just don't have the strength of a male.

More walls going up.

Doorway panel and window panel in place.  Walls completed.  YAY!

Gables going up.

Roof struts in place.  Hopefully roof frame will go on tomorrow.
A glass door will be installed in the doorway and this will be the view.  Please excuse the washing on the line and other rubbish that can be seen.  The vege patch needs quite a bit of attention very soon.

I'm planning to have my table/desk under part of this window.
The garden is looking nice with spring colour.

Adjuga

Wallflower

Euphorbia

Fuschia

Scabiosa

Azalea

Grannies bonnet
I took this sunset photo a few nights ago.  Unfortunately my camera doesn't show the true depth of the colours.

Wishing everyone a lovely week.

  1. Look at the progress you guys are making! The studio is going to be fabulous when you are finished. And to surrounded by all that greenery when out there is great. How a great weekend while working on the studio. :)

  4. What a beautiful sunset. It's so frustrating not to be able to capture the colours!

Your studio is looking great, that's going to be a lovely place for you :)

Thanks so much for your card - it arrived early in the week and made me smile. I've spent a whole week at university this week and enjoyed it. I had a chat with a lecturer to clarify some problems I had regarding paperwork and it was nice to have a break from school. I am feeling just a little bit more in control and capable this weekend - I hope that feeling lasts and gets stronger!

Hope you have a lovely. I'll look forward to seeing your studio progress :)
