This morning we had visitors of the feathered kind, beautiful King Parrots male and female.
Look at this handsome fellow!
These parrots are quite tame in comparison to the Crimson Rosellas we see more of. I don't normally like to feed the parrots so as not to encourage their dependence on humans for food. However on this occasion I relented so I could take some photos of these magnificant birds to share with you.
This little lady is enjoying the seeds.
Seeing these birds so close was such a lovely way to start the day.

What a beautiful bird to have living wild around you! I'd have to visit some kind of zoo to see birds in such lovely colours, but birds in cages make me sad!
