Granny square sunglasses case

A couple of weeks ago I lost my sunglasses case, so I decided I would make one from granny squares.  I used a thin 8 ply acrylic yarn and a 3.0mm crochet hook.  Four squares were made and crocheted together on three sides and turned inside out.

For the lining I cut a piece of matching felt to size and turned it inside out.

I tucked the felt pouch inside the granny square cover.

I sewed a button on the inside top edge of the opening.  I didn't make a buttonhole as I used a button that would fit through the gap in the crochet.

I now have a unique sunglasses case.  Sorry about the blurry photos, you know my camera doesn't like close up photos.

Take care everyone,
Anne  xx
