Hibernating

Just to let you know that I'll probably be absent a bit in the next few months.  I don't do winter very well and unfortunately I'm heading for the black hole again.  Bummer!!

I'll try and post a few bits and pieces when I'm having a reasonable day.  I have been working my butt off to avoid this horrible place again but obviously I didn't work hard enough.

I'll be reading your posts even if I'm not posting myself.

Bye for now,
Anne  xx

  1. Oh Anne, I'm sorry to hear this as I have enjoyed your posts...........

I can't say I understand how it works but know that it must be the pitts. Do take care of yourself and I hope the blackhole is but a blip on the radar.

It's a beautiful sunny day here for the last day of Autumn and I hope you have the same down there.

    Much love and hugs

  3. Very sorry about the black hole. Do you remember some of the time that it will go with the changing seasons. Must hold on to that and try to remember that you have a right to hibernate if you need to. Cherrie

  4. The dreaded winter black hole - I can understand that entirely. Perhaps you need to head to the Northern Hemisphere for the next few months - or just keep visiting our blogs for bursts of summer sunshine :) Hope to see you soon - Vicki xx

  5. Hopefully us lot in the Northern half will have lots of sunshine and can keep you supplied with sunny pics, as vintage vicki says!

I am glad you will still be reading and I hope you don't find winter too hard.

I'll try to post extra sunshine, especially for you if I can! You can find a lot of beauty in winter though if you look around! Do you get snow in Australia?

  6. Oh Bless you I totally understand. I seem to get low in the summer ! No routine in the long holidays - teenagers sleeping half the day, not seeing friends regularly, husband very very busy at worketc.
Will be thinking of you & popping by. You may find Blogging helps as your blogging friends are here for you with understanding & no judgement or criticism. Don't be too hard on yourself - you can't help this - just manage it as best as you can
    Love Penny xx

  7. ...just a thought, I've read that Light boxes can help people suffering from SAD seasonal affective disorder. I've just looked it up - I seem to suffer from reverse SAD or 'summer blues'

  8. Hello Anne, hope you enjoyed the movie. Love the food pictures in your last post . Well done! Isn't it so ghastly to feel that old familiar slidy feeling. Still, don't write off the winter just yet..you just never know how things might work out this time around. We'll all still be here..some of us in our own very muddly old ways, but here non-the-less. A small thought..it has really helped me of recent times to collect pictures with lots of light in them see here: http://pinterest.com/gardenfairy/glow/ I called this board "Glow" Hugs & sweet thoughts dear one. 9. Oh no! Look after yourself honey.
I can't say that I'm upset to be escaping the grey Victorian winter and heading North this year.
Hope to see you back sooner than later.

  12. I hope it is a false alarm. I'll make sure I include a bright photo in every post, just for you. I'll miss your posts. I always feel like hibernating in the winter. I'm sure its my rhythm. Here's to winter treating you kindly this year.

  13. Oh Anne, you will be in my thoughts. This winter was especially rough for me (little sunlight and pg hormones are not a great combo), so I understand a little. Will miss your posts. Be well.
