Photo scavenger hunt July

Here we are at the end of another month which means it's time to show  photos for July's scavenger hunt.  As usual, I have stretched my artistic license with some of the photos.

Red, white and blue.
Red, white and blue crafty bits and pieces.
Flip flops, or thongs as we call them in Australia.
These belong to Genevieve.
Ice cream
Ice cream with milo sprinkled on top, delicious.
Strawberries
A flag
Stretching the flag theme a bit with this photo.  I didn't have a flag.
Fields
Paddocks on my parents farm in Western Australia.
Celebration
Charlotte's 21st
 and
Genevieve's 18th  birthdays celebrated in June this year.
 Sea shells
Making a hanging garden ornament with shells and buttons.
Stars
This star pendant was given to me by a very old Thai lady years ago.  I can't even remember why she gave it to me.
Stripes
I love the appearance of stripes made by shadows on this old wheat silo on my parents farm.
A kite
This is a kite shaped birthday cake I made for Genevieve's 4th birthday.  Sorry about the quality of the photo as I took a photo of a photo.  This was taken long before digital cameras were the norm.
Something that makes me happy (but not a person or animal).
Working on the granny squares for my new cushion cover.
I made it just in the nick of time.  I'm promising myself that August's scavenger photos will be taken early!  We'll see.  Have a lovely day or evening.

  1. Love the colors in your granny squares. I was at the Spottie sale today stocking up on wool for more granny square scarves. Can't get enough of them. So nice to have met you through Pinterest. I look forward to more of your bloggy adventures. Jay xx

  3. Great photos, I love the stripes on the silo.

I'm way behind this time, I think I'm going to have to improvise a lot today to get mine done!

  4. Hi Anne!

I've been offline for a few days and have now moved Dave in, so I'm a bit behind schedule but will be posting mine later (I have taken them all!). I am also hoping to be more organised for the next list as it's the school holidays and we won't be so busy this month!

I have enjoyed your photos this month. I love the stripes photo and the way you have done red white and blue. Now I'm going to google your milo ice cream topping - never heard of that and don't know what it is!

Hope you are all well :)

  8. Nice collection. When else would you have a chance to have ice cream, birthday cakes and and a silo tower in the same post!

We don't have Milo in the UK, but I used to have friends that brought it over. I don't think we ever used it as a drink, but ate it straight out of the container! Always reminded me of smashed up Maltesers (chocolate sweet).

I just couldn't get interested in the list this month but when I see your effort I am a bit regretful.
