This morning I was greeted with a cup of tea, a gorgeous card and a package.
Hubby knows I love owls and during a little CBD shopping jaunt in his lunch hour, he saw these chocolate owls and bought me one. How can I eat a chocolate owl? He is too cute!! And look at that lovely book all about Paris. I'm on a mission now to find all the best shopping areas I can visit next year when we visit. I don't need to buy, window shopping in a totally different country will be very exciting. Now I can research eating areas, arty areas, museums......the list is endless.
I just about fell off the chair laughing when I opened the envelope and inside was this.
What an awesome card, I love it. The bit about the 'big kid' describes me well. Oh and I love these too!
Yummy Charlotte, thank you.
My lovely sister took me out to lunch today and we had a wonderful time. I also had the company of my gorgeous niece who was having a day off school. My sister knows I love gardening and bought me these lovely plants.
The daisy and the lavender are cuttings from her own garden which makes them very special. My sister and Mum like to make cards, here is the one from my sister.
It makes me think of a day at the races and hats and facinators with feathers. Glitzy and glam.
This is Mum's card.
I love the gold scrolly bit and the butterfly with a dusting of gold sparkles. Dad and Mum spoilt me with a gift of money which I think will go towards some craft and/or home books.
On the way home after lunch, I stopped off at a large shopping centre with a fruit and vege market and treated myself to some fresh flowers.

Ranunculus and Snapdragons, big, bold and beautiful. The Ranunculus were priced at 3 bunches for $5.00 as apparently they were past their best (they looked good to me) and the Snapdragons were $5.00 a bunch. BARGAIN!!
Charlotte is making dinner tonight, chicken stir fry over rice.
I hope wherever you are and whatever you are doing, you are well and happy.
Take care,
Anne xx
